● The magnetic Boccia Wedge allows the assistant to quickly place the ball at any height on the ramp.
● The player can very sensitively select the height from which to release the ball onto the court, gaining better control over placing the balls at the correct distance.
● The Profi Magnetic Wedge is designed for professional boccia players.
Technologies:
● Two versions of the product are available:
X200/X300: universal use - may fit to boccia ramps of other producers
X-clusive: very specific, just for the X-clusive boccia ramp
● The Boccia Wedge is made of stainless steel sheet and plastic.
● The wedge consists of 4 parts: the main body, wings, adjustable base, and guiding element.
● The main body of the wedge secures the ball in the set position and is magnetically fixed to the ramp.
● The wings keep the ball in the same orientation as set by the assistant, preventing the ball from rotating during the throw.
● The Plastic Base, on which the ball is placed, has an adjustable height, which regulates the sensitivity of the ball release.
● The guiding element at the front of the wedge softens the angle at which the ball exits the wedge, and the groove at the bottom also serves as a guide to keep the ball aligned with the centerline.
● The ball can be released through the hole at the bottom of the wedge – from below or from the sides.
● The professionalism of the Wedge lies in the precision of the ball release at the crucial moment when the ball exits the wedge.
● The main advantages are the adjustable elements – the height of the base under the ball, the width of the wings on the sides, and the position of the guiding element along the centerline.
